Louisiana Hospital Inform is a user-friendly resource for information on Louisiana hospitals. Because the consumer's role in managing their own healthcare is changing, Louisiana hospitals made a commitment to provide information regarding hospital pricing and quality. Louisiana Hospital Inform provides: Pricing data on the 50 most common inpatient and outpatient services; Quality data on surgical infections, 30-day mortality and the most common causes of hospitalization: heart attack, congestive heart failure and pneumonia; Patient satisfaction survey information from Hospital CAHPS®; and Demographic information, services offered and contact numbers for hospitals.
